The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®

The Arvigo® Institute

What is abdominal massage?

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® brings together bodywork, traditional remedies, herbal knowledge and spiritual healing to support the restoration of the body and being to a state of homeostasis (balance). These specific techniques are used to help align & reposition organs, as well as to increase blood flow to the gut and to the entire pelvic region, affecting reproductive & digestive health. Additionally, this work may well balance emotional health and promote overall functioning of the whole human body. This therapy is equally beneficial for men as it is for women.

How many treatments are needed?

Sessions are tailored to each individual's needs and specific goals. A detailed health history is taken to gain a full picture of your digestive and reproductive health.

What can I expect during the first treatment?

For your first appointment, the practitioner will review your completed & confidential health history form with you. Afterwards, you will create a treatment plan together and then they will ask for your informed consent. You will then receive treatment followed by self care instructions tailored to your specific health & wellness goals. The main areas of focus for treatment are the abdomen, low back, hips and glutes. This is the best way to access and treat the digestive and reproductive systems.
